Bundled pricing includes both trash and recycling services:
- Regular Cart Trash + Recycling: $40/month
- Small Cart Trash + Recycling: $36/month

When will Granger’s curbside recycling services start?
Expanded service will begin the week of January 12. Current trash customers in Blackman and Summit are encouraged to sign up at any time, but will only be eligible for the free recycling offer if they sign up by the November 30 deadline.
When will I receive my three months of free recycling?
Trash customers in Blackman and Summit Townships who sign up for curbside recycling by November 30 will receive free recycling service for the months of January, February and March of 2026.
What happens after the three months of free recycling?
If you wish to continue your curbside recycling service after the three free months, you don’t need to do anything. Moving forward, you will continue to have every other week curbside recycling service at a discounted, bundled rate.

If you decide not to continue your curbside recycling, simply contact us to cancel it prior to the end of March 2026.
What if I decide not to sign up, but change my mind later?
You can still sign up for curbside recycling service after the November 30 deadline has passed, but you will not be eligible for free recycling. You will, however, still be able to get every other week curbside recycling service at a discounted, bundled rate.

What are the guidelines for curbside recycling?
- All materials can be placed in your cart together. No sorting is needed. Materials are sorted at a facility after collection.
- Containers should be empty and rinsed clean of food residue.
- Boxboard and cardboard should be broken down and flattened.
What materials are accepted in curbside recycling?
- Boxboard
- Cardboard
- Mixed paper
- Metal cans and foil
- Plastic bottles, tubs, jugs and containers
- Clear and colored glass

What day will curbside recycling be picked up?
After you sign up for curbside recycling, expect to receive a confirmation email from Granger in early December. This email will let you know when to expect cart delivery and will include your recycling collection day. Your recycling will not necessarily be picked up on the same day as your trash.
