The Granger Treat Truck is Coming to Mt. Pleasant!
Granger Waste Services is set to join the Mt. Pleasant community as its official waste hauler starting January 2, 2025! To celebrate and build community connections, Granger is rolling out a festive Halloween campaign that includes the debut of the Granger Treat Truck in the beginning of October. This Halloween-themed truck, loosely inspired by the new Beetlejuice film, will travel the streets of Mt. Pleasant offering costumes, candy and prizes.
Residents will have the chance to meet Captain Curby and get an early start on signing up for Granger’s services at various events.

On October 26, city of Mt. Pleasant residents will have the chance to win free trash and recycling service for a year with a special edition Curby cart! Use the clues to locate one of the three hidden Curby carts. To win, be the first person to post a photo of yourself with the Curby cart on Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #grangertreattruck.

- The winner must be a resident of the city of Mt. Pleasant and be a property owner (or have permission from the property owner to use/set up service).
- Participants must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by an adult.
- City of Mt. Pleasant employees and family of employees, Granger employees and family of employees and Granger vendors may participate, but are not eligible to win.
- The year of free service can only be used from January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025.
- Participants may only win one free year of service prize, even if they are the first to find more than one cart.
- The free service prize includes weekly trash service with choice of regular or small cart and every other week recycling service with ONE CART and at ONE LOCATION only. It does not include fees for large bulk items or extra bags.
- The free service prize is not transferable to a service address outside of the city of Mt. Pleasant, even if the winner moves during the course of the year.
- This prize has no cash value and cannot be substituted for any other product or service.
- Winners may choose to use the special edition cart for their trash service for the duration of the free year of service. However, the cart remains the property of Granger.
- Winners who wish to use the special edition cart for service are responsible for transporting it to their service addresses.
