We’re excited to bring curbside recycling with a cart to Blackman and Summit Townships. Until now, no company has offered this service locally, and we’re proud to be the first to make recycling easy and accessible for your household.

What is the fee for Granger’s curbside recycling?
Bundled trash and recycling services are available at affordable rates:
- Mini cart + recycling, $29.99/month
- Small cart + recycling, $36/month
- Regular cart + recycling, $40/month
Are residents required to sign up for trash service from Granger, too?
No. Township residents who don’t use Granger trash service can select recycling-only service from Granger at the affordable rate of $16.29/month.
When will Granger’s curbside recycling services start?
Expanded service will begin the week of January 12. Residents are encouraged to sign up at any time.
What are the guidelines for curbside recycling?
- All materials can be placed in your cart together. No sorting is needed. Materials are sorted at a facility after collection.
- Containers should be empty and rinsed clean of food residue.
- Boxboard and cardboard should be broken down and flattened.
What materials are accepted in curbside recycling?
- Boxboard
- Cardboard
- Mixed paper
- Metal cans and foil
- Plastic bottles, tubs, jugs and containers
- Clear and colored glass

What day will curbside recycling be picked up?
After you sign up, you’ll receive email communication from the Granger Customer Solutions Department providing details about cart delivery and collection day. Please note, you will not receive information about your curbside recycling collection day until early December.
If I sign up for a trash + recycling bundle, can I start my trash service right away?
Yes! Although our curbside recycling service makes its debut in January, you can start your trash service immediately. You’ll just pay the trash-only rate until recycling service starts.
