We're excited to be a part of your community and are happy to serve you. To help smooth the transition, we have a few things to share with you. If you have service issues or questions, contact us using the form below.

Whenever you transition a large number of customers from one system to another as we have done with Dent, there are bound to be challenges. We have found that not all the records are accurate or complete, and we are doing our best to rectify this as quickly and efficiently as we can. When you receive your first invoice from Granger, please review the contact information on the invoice and verify that the information is correct. If you have any changes, please indicate them on the back of the tear away section of the invoice. We very much appreciate your patience with us as we work through this transition.

Payment

Please mail or call in your payment on any invoices received from Dent Refuse.

Paperless Billing

After you receive your first invoice from Granger, click here if you would like to sign up for Paperless Billing.

Collection Day

Refer to the letter you received from Granger for a possible day change.

If you have not received a letter, please contact us.

Containers

If you have a Dent container, keep using it! We’ll replace containers as needed due to wear and tear.

Please note that Granger is not responsible for damage to any personal containers.

Placement of Trash

Please note that all trash must be at the street to be collected. Special arrangements may be made for those who are not physically able, but we will not be able to accommodate all requests.

Granger observes the following holidays:

  • New Year's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

If an observed holiday falls on a week day (Monday through Friday), your collection will be delayed by one day. If the observed holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, there will be no delay.

Dent Bags/Tags

You may continue to use the bags and/or bag tags you have until they are gone. Once you have used all of your bags and/or bag tags, you can buy additional bag tags from Granger.

Granger Bag Tags

Buy Granger orange bag tags at Martin’s Kountry Korner, Mission Pharmacy or Granger Disposal Center of Alma in any quantity for $2 each. (Please note, Martin’s Kountry Korner will be selling a limited number of Dent bags for $3 each and will sell Granger bag tags after all Dent bags are gone.) Or order bag tags directly from Granger in packs of 10 and have them mailed to your home. To order bag tags directly from Granger, go to /reorder-bag-tags/.

Put your trash in the bag of your choice (maximum 30-gallon size). This gives you the freedom to use scented bags, drawstring bags, whatever bags you like.

Place one orange bag tag on each bag of trash and put it out on your service day. You can also use your own trash container—just make sure each trash bag has a bag tag.
