Recycling Guidelines

**To find your next recycling collection day, log into your Customer Portal account.**

  • All materials can be placed in your Curby Recycler together.
  • Rinse containers clean
  • Break down and flatten boxboard and cardboard

What’s Accepted

  • Cardboard (corrugated)
  • Boxboard (cereal, crackers, pasta and other dry goods boxes)
  • Cartons (milk, juice, soup, broth, etc.)
  • Mixed paper (newspaper, magazines, catalogs, mail, office paper)
  • Glass (clear and colored)
  • Plastic bottles and containers
  • Aluminum cans and foil
  • Steel and tin cans

What We Can’t Recycle

  • Aerosol cans
  • Appliances
  • Bulky plastic products (storage totes, laundry baskets, buckets, etc.)
  • Disposable coffee cups
  • Drinking glasses and other dishes
  • Foam containers and packaging
  • Frozen food boxes
  • Hangers
  • Household scrap metal
  • Paint cans
  • Plastic bags of any kind (retail, storage, etc.)
  • Rubber
  • String, twine and hoses
  • Stickers and sticky notes
  • Toys

  • 1. What is my recycling day?
     

    Most of our curbside recycling customers have every other week collection. **To find your next recycling collection day, log into your Customer Portal account.**

  • 2. Can any Granger customer use recycling service?
     

    Curbside recycling is available in limited areas.

  • 3. Do I automatically get recycling with my trash service?
     

    Unless you are under a municipal contract that includes recycling, you will need to add recycling to your service if you would like to use it. To find out if recycling is available in your area and get a quote for service, complete the request service form.
