Help! My Curby Cart is Missing!

By Rachael on March 10, 2017

Imagine this scenario. It’s trash collection day in your neighborhood. You come home from work, park your car in the garage and head out to the street to get the mail and bring your Curby cart up to the garage. As you walk down the driveway, it suddenly hits you. That convenient, brown plastic workhorse, otherwise known as Curby, is not where you left it this morning. Your Curby has come up missing!

Your first instinct is to panic. Then the questioning starts: Where could my Curby be? Could someone have stolen it? Did Granger take it? Where will I put my trash now?

It’s possible that Granger could have taken your cart, but this usually doesn’t happen unless you’re quite a bit behind in your payments or your drivers have noticed your cart needs to be replaced. An extremely strong wind could potentially blow your cart away, especially if your cart is empty. And, yes, it’s true that occasionally a cart will get stolen.

In most cases, we can give you the serial number of your cart. If you find a cart in your neighborhood but aren’t sure if it’s yours or not, the serial number can help with identification.

But you don’t need to worry. If your Curby cart is missing, we can help. Your first step is to contact us and let us know your cart is missing. You can do so easily by filling out this form.

Once you have filled out the form, we’ll do some investigating. If we have taken your cart for lack of payment, we’ll let you know what steps you’ll need to take to get it back. If your cart was in disrepair, we’ll let you know when you can expect delivery of your new cart.

If it seems that your cart truly is missing and we didn’t take it, we’ll make arrangements to get you a new cart. We won’t charge you to replace your cart (except in rare circumstances where you have damaged your cart intentionally).

So, if this ever happens to you, don’t panic. You won’t be without your Curby cart for long.
